This is so good. I miss Matty V.
Perpetual elbow enigma Cory Luebke is joining Everth Cabrera as former Padres on minor league contracts with the White Sox. Last season he made nine appearances with the Pirates after spending four years in ligament limbo with the Padres organization.

Dear Santa, Please let the Padres win the World Series. Thank you, -Roy
Padres have fired President, CEO, and generally unliked by fans executive Mike Dee! It's supposedly unrelated to Preller's suspension, and given Dee's less than stellar tenure at President and CEO I'd not be surprised if they're telling the truth. From BSPlaza, to Manziel's drafting, to the Gay Men's Chorus gaffe, to the gutting of lower level season ticket plans, his tenure has been one stumble after another. But hey at least he got the All Star Game to San Diego right?
All part of the rookie dress-up thing on the last road trip of the season.
