Mark Sweeney

Right fielder Mark Sweeney drives in center fielder Steve Finley in the bottom of the 13th at Qualcomm Stadium to give the Padres a 7–6, walk-off win over the Florida Marlins. Sweeney would go on to have three different stints in San Diego, staying with the Friars through their 1998 NL pennant, 2002 and 2005 before retiring with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2008 at age 38 years old.
