Right-hander Chris Young is four outs away from a perfect game before Milwaukee’s Gabe Kapler homers, ending the perfect game and no-hit bid. The Padres ultimately beat the Brewers 10–1 in Milwaukee. The Padres would remain without a no-hitter until April 9, 2021, when Joe Musgrove no-hits the Rangers in Arlington in a 3-0 win.
