Not known for his power, utility man Bip Roberts hits a three-run, walk-off homer with two outs in the 10th inning to give the Padres a 3–0 victory over Houston at San Diego Jack Murphy Stadium. Roberts spent majority of his 12-year big league career with the Padres in two stints, one from 1986-91 before returning for the 1994 and ‘95 seasons.
