Right fielder Ollie Brown goes 2-for-3 with an RBI in a 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers at San Diego Stadium. The win ensures that the Padres do not lose 100 games for the first time in franchise history. Brown would go on to have a 13-year career, but had his best years in San Diego.
