The Padres finally put an end to their four-game losing streak by winning yesterday’s series finale against the Mets by a score fo 7-3. Fernando Tatis Jr. hit his third-career grand slam to create an insurmountable lead for the Friars and he was joined in going yard by both Manny Machado and Tommy Pham.
San Diego will look to continue their offensive momentum into game one against the Rockies this evening’s game which is set to begin at 5:40 p.m. Dinelson Lamet (1-1, 3.52 ERA) is the expected starter and he’ll be facing Austin Gomber (505, 3.95 ERA).
