Padres Game Thread 6/13/21: Padres @ Mets

Can we get some semblance of positivity out of today?

MLB: San Diego Padres at New York Mets Wendell Cruz-USA TODAY Sports

The Padres fell to the Mets on Saturday afternoon 4-1 to lose their second-straight series and their fourth-straight contest. Fernando Tatis Jr. homered for the team’s only run of the day and Joe Musgrove finished with seven strikeouts, one walk, and three runs allowed.

In today’s game three, Chris Paddack (2-5, 4.27 ERA) will be on the mound against former Padre Joey Lucchesi (1-4, 5.79 ERA).

Starting Lineup

Jayce Tingler is mixing up the lineup to see if something can get sparked on offense. Tatis is now batting second with Wil Myers now in cleanup. Jake Cronenworth is getting the day off so Ha-Seong Kim will start at second. Webster Rivas will catch for Paddack.

Enjoy the game! Go Padres!
