Tonight is game three in a four-game road stint with the Brewers so the Padres have every opportunity to clinch a tie in the series tonight in Milwaukee. After getting the best of Corbin Burnes last night, the momentum for the Friars has got to feel strong.
Heading into tonight’s matchup, the Padres and Dodgers are tied for tops in the majors with a +79 run differential. The Dodgers hold the edge over total runs scored (230 vs. 252) but the Padres hold the lead in total runs allowed (151 vs. 173). San Diego also remains a half game ahead of L.A. for the division lead.
Chris Paddack (2-3, 3.96 ERA) and Eric Lauer (1-1, 2.81 ERA) are on the mound to start tonight.

The biggest change to the top of the lineup comes in the former of Jorge Mateo getting the start in centerfield and batting second. Other than that, the one, two, and four spots are all the same as yesterday. In fact, the entire lineup is the same except for the addition of Mateo.
Enjoy the game! Go Padres!
