With a win tonight, the Padres will put together their second-straight sweep of the 2021 season. For whatever reason, despite missing a number of key starters over the past week, the Friars have been playing some of their best ball.
Joe Musgrove (3-4, 2.86 ERA) will be on the mound tonight against Chi Chi Gonzalez (2-1, 4.79 ERA).

Jayce Tingler isn’t messing with a top three that hasn’t faltered in some time. With that staying put, Tatis will be batting cleanup for the first time in his career. Hosmer also makes his return to first base and will bat fifth. Bryan O’Grady will also continue to start in right field for Myers who remains on the IL.
Enjoy the game! Go Padres!
