Padres Game Thread 5/1/21: Giants @ Padres

Hey all, I’m unfortunately working overtime to cover the NFL Draft so apologies for the pause on game recaps. Appreciate the understanding.

The Padres are looking to take the series against the Giants after a narrow 3-2 victory on Friday evening. Blake Snell (0-0, 3.92 ERA) is on the mound tonight and he’ll be facing off against Anthony DeSclafani (2-0, 1.50 ERA)

Austin Nola gets behind the plate for Snell’s start tonight. Tonight’s lineup also looks pretty close to what the team trotted out there for the majority of the 2020 season. Let’s hope it reaps the same rewards.
