Padres Game Thread 4/24/21: Padres @ Dodgers

Make it three, baby!

MLB: San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Dodgers Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Saturday, Friar Faithful!

Your Padres have won the first two matchups of this four-game series in Los Angeles and they’ve got a prime opportunity to clinch the series with a victory tonight.

Blake Snell (0-0, 4.11 ERA) is on the mound tonight against Trevor Bauer (2-0, 2.42 ERA) in what should be another prime pitching matchup to watch.

Coming into tonight, the Dodgers (14-6) are still at the top of the NL West with the Giants (13-7) right on their heels while the Padres doing what they can to stay in the hunt for the division at 12-10.

Starting Lineup

Jayce Tingler is going to try and fix what’s not broken. A top-three of Fernando Tatis Jr. Trent Grisham, and Manny Machado is working just fine for the Padres. Victor Caratini will be catching for Snell and Jurickson Profar will also be replacing Tommy Pham in left field.

Enjoy the game! Go Padres!
