Padres Game Thread 4/20/21: Brewers @ Padres

The only thing worse than a bad night with a non-existent offense is a second-straight night with a similar performance. Here’s to hoping the script gets flipped enough in game two of this three-game series against Milwaukee.

Chris Paddack is your starter tonight and he’s coming off his best performance of the year in which he struck out a season-high four batters against the Pirates last Thursday. It was also the only game thus far that The Sheriff managed to allowed less than two runs.

Starting Lineup

With Trent Grisham back in tonight’s lineup, he’ll take back his spot at the top of the lineup. But with Grisham’s return, Tatis and Manny Machado will take the night off. Jake Cronenworth will bat third in Tatis’ place while Ha-Seong Kim will bat seventh and start at third base. Luis Campusano is also getting the start behind the plate.
