The Padres are back in Petco park tonight for game two of their four-game stint with the Diamondbacks. After a narrow 8-7 victory on Thursday afternoon, the Friar faithful hopes their team will be able to create some comfortable distance in tonight’s contest.
After combining to combing for just one hit in 10 at-bats in game one, Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado will also be looking to get their season started off right with a rebound performance tonight. After all, two members of the exclusive Diamond Club for this year’s MLB The Show 21 can’t let multiple games go by without setting off some fireworks.

Following Darvish, Blake Snell is making his Padre debut tonight. The rest of the lineup is roughly the same as game one but the seventh and eighth slot has been switched with Luis Campusano starting at center and Jurickson Profar now in the second-to-last spot.
Like the tweet says, the Padres will be rocking their pinstripes under the lights and the team’s aesthetic isn’t going to get much better than that.
Enjoy the game and Go Padres!
