TGIF, Padres fans, and welcome to game one of a three-game home series against the Dodgers.
Los Angeles currently sits atop the majors with a league-best 11-2 record and a +34 run differential. They’re currently undefeated at home, so it’s nice to have them visiting in this series.
Ryan Weathers is making the first regular-season start of his career and he couldn’t have asked more pressure if he tried. He’s facing 26-year old Walker Buehler who currently sits with a 1-0 mark and a 1.50 ERA through a pair of starts.
I know you’re all stoked for this game as it’s rightfully going to be played under the lights. Big-time payers make big-time plays, so this is an excellent opportunity for the Padres to show that last year wasn’t a one-hit wonder-type ordeal.
