Good morning Padres fans and welcome to what is probably the earliest you’ve gotten up for a baseball game on a week day. At least, if you’re lucky enough to not have to work this morning.
The Friars — like the rest of the league — will be celebrating the life and legacy of Jackie Robinson. Every player will be rocking Robinson’s number 42 with accompanying commemorative patches.
The Sheriff is on the mound today, facing 25-year old Mitch Keller (1-1, 4.50 ERA).

After another underwhelming outing on Wednesday night, the Padres are mixing things up with today’s lineup. Trent Grisham and Jurickson Profar are back in the one and two spots while Jake Cronenworth is now batting third, bumping Manny Machado to cleanup duty. Also getting his first start in right field in place of Wil Myers is Tucupita Marcano, one of the Padres’ notable performers from, spring training.
Grab some coffee and enjoy the game! Go Padres!
