Joe Musgrove is back on the mound for the first time since throwing the Padres’ first no-hitter in franchise history and it just so happens to be against his former team in Pittsburgh.
After a confusing and rather frustrating pitching performance for the whole team on Tuesday afternoon, the Friars will be looking for another strong outing by Musgrove to help get things back on track for San Diego.

Tonight’s lineup sees a little bit of a shakeup compared to the past few contests. Manny Machado is bumped up to second while Jake Cronenworth is sent down to sixth. Eric Hosmer and Tommy Pham will round out the top half of the lineup and Ha-Seong Kim sees another start at shortstop in place of Fernando Tatis Jr.
Enjoy the game! Let’s get this win, Padres!
