The Friar Faithful were witnesses to history last night when Joe Musgrove — the hometown kid — recorded the first no-hitter in Padres history. Real, bonafide history.
Zero hits. Zero balls. 10 strikeouts.
The team likely hasn’t even come down from their highs of Friday night yet and they have to take the field once again this afternoon. Well, here’s to hoping last night wasn’t the peak of the season.

Chris Paddack is your starter for the night as he faces 30-year old right-hander, Jordan Lyles. Trent Grisham and Jurickson Profar will once again kick off the lineup as they did last night. Wil Myers will be the team’s DH while Profar gets the start in right field.
Enjoy the game! Go Padres!
