MLB: San Diego Padres at Chicago White Sox Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The San Diego starters played the first half of Tuesday’s exhibition falling behind 2-0 heading into the sixth. But on his last plate appearance, Wil Myers sent a solo home run to center field to spark a run of four-straight runs as the Padres came back to take the win on the day over the White Sox 4-2.

Blake Snell started his second game of the spring, working two innings and finishing with a lone strikeout. Ryan Weathers followed him up, allowing one earned run and also recording a single K. Drew Pomeranz got the win for the game and joined Emilo Pagan in leading the bullpen with two Ks against Chicago.

Manny Machado and Tucupita Marcano each finished two-of-two at the plate with Marcano notching an RBI.

Chicago’s Lance Lynn had an excellent start on the mound, going 2 23 innings and striking out five with four walks and two allowed hits.
