Margot was one of four prospects acquired in a trade for Craig Kimbrel back in 2015. Margot would debut for the Padres in 2016 and make the 2017 Opening Day roster. Margot was seen as a big part of the team’s future, but could not live up to the hype. He was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays ahead of the 2020 season.
