Brad Ausmus

Ausmus began his 18-year playing career with the Padres back in 1993. He spent the first four major league seasons of his career in San Diego. In 1995, Ausmus bat .293 with five home runs and 16 stolen bases. He would retire in 2010 and then enjoy a few years in the dugout as a manager. He last served as a manager in 2019 for the Los Angeles Angels and it leads people to believe if they will consider Ausmus for the managerial opening for the upcoming season given his connection with the organization.
