Game Thread: 9/25 Padres @ Giants game 2

The Padres dropped the first half of tonight’s double-header but at least they made it close in the end. Down 5-1 at the top of the seventh, San Diego recorded three runs to bring the score to 5-4 but couldn’t find that last run they needed to tie things up.

I guess ESPN lied to me about Dinelson Lamet pitching in the first game. It was Chris Paddack. We’re now getting Lamet in the second game, so maybe we can squeak out at least one more win before the season is over.

Starting Lineup

Grisham is starting things off in the #1 spot with Tatis, Machado, and Hosmer following him up. Hosmer is the team’s DH while Mitch Moreland starts at first base. Jason Castro will start at catcher in this one, as well.
