Eric Hosmer will be in tonight's lineup. Luis Patiño is starting tonight. Mike Clevinger had some bicep tightness after his last start. He will receive a couple more days of rest.

Prior to tonight’s game, the #Padres optioned C Francisco Mejía and RHP Luis Perdomo to the alternate training site, reinstated 1B Eric Hosmer from the 10-day IL and recalled RHP Luis Patiño.

In a sudden move by the team, Mike Clevinger will not start tonight. The team has recalled Luis Patino who will start in his place. In a corresponding move, the team optioned Francisco Mejia and Luis Perdomo to the alternate training site.
