The Padres put the cherry on top of their trading-spree when they sent a six-player package to Cleveland for ace pitcher Mike Clevinger.

Arguably, San Diego didn’t have to give up any of their top-five prospects to make any of their deals happen and that’s a huge testament to A.J. Preller and the work he put in to make it all come to fruition.

While I’ll miss guys like RHP Cal Quantrill and LF Josh Naylor, the Padres finally have their front-line starter which will go a long way in solidifying their bullpen after acquiring reliever Trevor Rosenthal, as well.

If you’re still riding the wave of euphoria from the Clevinger deal, go ahead and consider purchasing a piece of the moment with this brand new “San Diego Sunshine” t-shirt from BreakingT.

If it’s a causal piece of apparel to a new gym shirt, it’s mad comfortable. Take it from someone who has both the “El Nino” and “Slam Diego” shirts that were also recently posted.

Happy Tuesday and Go Padres, everyone!
