Game Thread: 8/22 Astros @ Padres

Let’s make it six in a row, now.

Keep. The pedal. To. The metal.

The Padres are currently one of, if not, the hottest team in the league. Their offense is second only to the Dodgers in runs scored (145) this season and the bullpen seems to be improving ever so slightly. Any distance they can continue to put between them and the Rockies in the division is greatly needed in a season where games and chances for victory are much scarcer than in a normal season.

Starters Zach Davis (3-2) and Brandon Bilak (3-0) are clashing tonight on the mound.

Starting Lineup

Manny Machado and Eric Hosmer have swapped places once again and the former is getting the nod at DH tonight. Ty France is getting the start at third in his place. C Luis Torrens is getting another start as Hedges gets the night off at catcher.
