El Nino shirts are here!

If now’s not the time to grab this shirt, I don’t what is.

Right on time, the great folks over at BreakingT dropped a new Padres shirt design this week for you to collect. This time, it dons the glowing mug of the phenom himself, Fernando Tatis Jr.

Tatis is currently on a career-long 17-game streak of getting on base while coming off a streak of four games where he cranked five home runs. His play has helped the Padres get back into the division race as they’re just one game behind the Dodgers 11-6 and 1.5 behind the first-place Rockies (11-5).

On the season, Tatis is slashing .328/.408/.776 with a team-leading 22 hits, eight home runs, and 18 RBIs. He’s also added four stolen bases, good for second on the Padres behind Tommy Pham’s five.

As of this moment, Tatis leads the team in almost every hitting cateogry, incuding batting average, home runs, hits RBIs, and OBP. There isn’t a better moment than now to grab yourself one of these shirts in order to remind people who the greatest player in baseball is.
