With the 139th pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, the San Diego Padres selected Jagger Haynes, a pitcher out of West Columbus High School in North Carolina.

Haynes is a 6’4, 170-pound left-handed pitching prospect who posted a 4-1 record during his last full season of play as a junior. In 23 games, Haynes posted 2.35 ERA with four saves. He finished with a 3.93 batting average with 33 hits, 20 runs scored, and 18 RBIs.
The 17-year old Haynes is currently committed to play collegiately at the University of North Carolina.
