Caissie is now the Padres third player in a row to be drafted out of the high school ranks as the 6’4, 207-pound prospect has yet to even turn 18. He was ranked as the 95th player on Perfect Game’s list of top 2020 prospects in the draft so his selection at #45 might have surprise some folks.
