Who is the one player in the MLB you wish you could add to the Padres?

One of the most fun hypotheticals to play with as a sports fan is to imagine what life would be like if you could take one player from any opposing team in the league and add them to your favorite squad. It really sparks a rabbit-hole of possibility as fans can really run with their own self-created realities.

So on this fine Saturday, I’m simply going to leave you with this question and let you guys all take off and run with it. In the comments below, tell us which player you would pluck away from their current team and add to the Padres.

I’ll start: Anthony Rizzo of the Chicago Cubs. Dude has one of the most infectious personalities that I have seen in the MLB and would obviously bring an additional winning mentality to this roster.
