If you’ve missed any part of the story so far, you can always check here to see all of the posts I’ve written on Gaslamp Ball about this virtual San Diego Padres team I’m playing through with OOTP21.
REMINDER: After I finish this season, I’ll be restarting without the ability to make roster moves myself.
In case you missed it yesterday, my OOTP21 San Diego Padres have made the playoffs (via Wild Card) in 2020 and will play one game versus the New York Mets to determine which team gets to play the Los Angeles Dodgers in the divisional round.
I’ll be streaming the game live, at bat-by-at bat, on Twitch starting at 3pm PT. You can watch by hitting the play button on the video below. I’ll do by best to keep an eye on both the Twitch chat and the comments here during the game.
But, Padres vs. Mets! For some of the marbles!
You know what that means, right?
Right?
PADDACK vs. ALONSO, Part Deux
The Chris Paddack vs. Pete Alonso rivalry is heating up again to add some fire to this one. Here’s a look at the full lineups for this one:

Looks like the Mets hold the advantage as far as offense, and it’s a tie in terms of pitching, but I like my defense a lot more than theirs and I’m hoping that is a big enough factor to move the needle here.
(For those asking, McNeil’s injury is an elbow contusion that will effect his throwing but not his hitting.)
Let’s get to the action!
See you at 3pm PT. Go (virtual) Padres!
