Game Thread: 07 MAR Padres

New, comments

Like Will Ferrell, Padres are streaking again.

It took a 9th inning rally, but the Padres managed to come back and start their 2nd winning streak of the spring. Our Padres downed the Rangers 4-3 under the Peoria lights, winning on a walk-off RBI single by Esteban “El Pony” Quiroz. RHP Zach Davies, paired with C Austin Hedges, was dominant during his start: 4 IP, only 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, and 5 Ks. A nice team effort to get the win!

Today’s Game:

The Padres will travel to take on the Arizona Diamondbacks. LHP Joey Lucchesi will get the start, with LHP Matt Stratham slated to follow. Game info follows:

Start Time: 1210 Pacific time.

Location: Salt River Fields in Scottsdale, AZ.

Radio/TV: Padres Radio broadcast on 97.3 KWFN.

Weather Forecast: Mostly sunny, with temps near 80 degrees Fahrenheit at gametime. Winds out of the SSE @ 10 MPH.

I’ll be hanging with my family, so once again, if some one could please post the starting lineup down in the comments, I’d appreciate it.

Go Padres!
