Game Thread: 06 MAR Padres vs. Rangers

And just like that, all is right in the world.

MLB: Spring Training-San Diego Padres at Seattle Mariners

The Padres returned to form yesterday, beating the Seattle Mainers, 3-0. Dinelson Lamet became the 2nd Padres starter to go more than 2 innings, going 3 innings while allowing only 1 hit, and K-ing 5. LHP prospect also made his debut, and he was impressive: 1 inning of work, and needing only 8 pitches. The rest of the pitching staff did their part, locking down the Mariners lineup and racking up 12 total Ks on the day.

As for the offense, offensive stud/jack of all trades Greg Garcia took care of everything. He finished 1-3 on the day, scoring 1 run and driving in 2 RBI on a 2-run HR. Check it out below:

Today’s Game:

The Padres will “return” home to take on the Indians. RHP Zach Davies will face off against one-time Padres Prospect Corey Kluber. RHPs Luis Perdomo, Steven Wilson, Kyle Barraclough and David Bednar are all slated to follow. Game info follows below:
