Hello again, Padres fans. Our Padres finally kicked off their Cactus League season yesterday, and came away with a 7-2 victory over the Brewers. Here’s the box score stats for some of the younger members of the big league camp (follow the link for the rest of the team).

Let’s see if the boys can make it 2-0, as they face off against the Kansas City Royals. RHP Cal Quantrill, who was supposed to start the rained out game on 23 FEB, instead threw a light bullpen session and will get the start today. He’ll be followed by bullpen cogs Drew Pomeranz and Craig Stammen
