Fernando Tatis Jr. signs with Gatorade

Well deserved.

With the wild success he has achieved through his first professional two seasons it’s not a surprise that everyone wants a piece of the budding superstar Fernando Tatis Jr.

Earlier this week, THE name in the sports drink game — Gatorade — added the First-Team All-MLB shortstop to their lineup of sponsored athletes. He’s partnering with them just in time to be one of their faces for their new brand, BOLT24, that is scheduled to come out later in December.

On top of his First-Team selection in 2020, Tatis also finished fourth in the running for NL MVP.

Other athletes who are currently on Gatorade’s roster include Zion Williamson, Jayson Tatum, Todd Gurley, and Mallory Pugh. Some of the other athletes who have recently joined the brand along with Tatis are Damian Lillard and Matthew Wolff.

“We pride ourselves on working with athletes who are championship caliber and are aspirational for kids,” says Gatorade Global Head of Sports marketing, Jeff Kearney. “BOLT24 is breaking some new rules for us, and Fernando is a guy who is writing his own rules of the game.”

Tatis said being a part of the Gatorade family “feels like a blessing” and that it “means a lot to me, my career, and to everyone in my family.”

A big congrats to El Nino and all of his current and future success! Couldn’t be happier to have a player like him in San Diego!
