Podcast: The MTPGA Manager Draft

Craig and John are back, and this time they’re trying to figure out who should replace Andy Green.

MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers at San Diego Padres Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

Andy Green is not a good manager. Anyone who has followed the San Diego Padres over the last few years could tell you that much, and anyone expecting him to be the guy to turn this team around and turn them into winners is probably going to be left confused instead of validated.

All of the above is opinion, but it’s an opinion that I share with my co-host on Make the Padres Great Again, Craig Elsten. So, instead of talking about whatever the hell the team has been doing on the field over the last week, we decided to have some fun this week.

The rules are pretty simple. Craig and I alternated (I got the first pick) selections of people we would like to see replace Andy Green before the start of next season. There are a couple of surprise picks, for sure!

Now that we each have our 5 or 6 guys that we’ll be tied to forever, who would you like to see as the next Padres manager? Let us know in the comments!
