WHY: The Padres take the field again tonight looking to get back into the Win column after a pair of disappointing losses. Matt Strahm will toe the rubber for the good guys while Tyler Beede does the same for the Giants.

A day ago, only the Fernando Tatis Jr. was the only starter that really managed to contribute offensively, and the Friars will need more from the rest of the lineup tonight if they’re to avoid dropping a series to the lowly San Francisco Giants.
