Baseball America came out with their Top MLB Prospects hot sheet today, featuring a few Padres. Most notable was Mackenzie Gore, fresh off the announcement that he’ll be among 3 prospects representing the Padres in the Futures game. Gore has 101 K’s in 72.1 IP while walking just 17. To say A ball hitters are overmatched would be the understatement of the year. Luis Patino and Adrian Morejon are the other 2 that will be featured on July 7th to kick off all-star week.

His outing on June 26 was his second consecutive with nine strikeouts, and his fifth start with at least that many.
