WHO: San Diego Padres vs. Washington Nationals
WHAT: Padres look to take game two of a four-game set.
WHEN: Friday, June 7, 2019, at 7:10 p.m.
WHERE: PetCo Park
HOW: Watch on FOX Sports San Diego (or FOX Sports Go), listen on 97.3FM The Fan. Spanish broadcasts on FOX Deportes San Diego and XEMO 860AM.
WHY: The rookie lefthander Nick Margevicius has been incredibly ineffective during his most recent run of four starts, and with the Padres returning to a five-man rotation as early as next week, he will need to find his early season form again if he wants to keep his job. Tonight he faces off against a decidedly average Washington Nationals lineup who scored four runs a night ago.
Offensively, the Padres got arguably their best player back in Fernando Tatis. In his first returned from injury. he went 1 for 2 while drawing two walks and scoring a run. If he really is going to keep this up, he makes a decent Padres lineup significantly more potent.
