WHO: San Diego Padres vs. Washington Nationals

WHAT: Padres have a chance to bounce back after dropping a series to the visiting Phillies.

WHEN: Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 7:10 p.m.

WHERE: PetCo Park

HOW: Watch on FOX Sports San Diego (or FOX Sports Go), listen on 97.3FM The Fan. Spanish broadcasts on FOX Deportes San Diego and XEMO 860AM.

WHY: Joey Lucchesi is taking the mound tonight for the San Diego Padres as they welcome the Washington Nationals. Lucchesi has had a very strong 4-game run during which he has struck out 26 over 25 13 innings while featuring an ERA of only 2.49. Hopefully, he will be able to continue that level of play tonight so that he might keep the bullpen from being too big of a factor.

Offensively, Franmil Reyes has been carrying much of the load over the last week, slugging four home runs and slashing .263/.333/.947. Hunter Renfroe has similarly been on a bit of a tear slashing .231/.375/.923 during that same time.

Hopefully, the Padres can get off to a good start tonight.
