Nick Margevicius pitched a full 4th inning last night. The problem was he didn’t record an out, and the hapless Marlins scored 5 runs en route to a 9-3 victory over the Padres.

The Friars wasted an early 2 run homer from Josh Naylor. It was the first of his career.

Adam Warrens struggles continued. He had his 4th consecutive outing giving up at least a run.

The Padres continued to swing and miss at an alarming rate. The team has combined for 24 strikeouts over the first 2 games of the series.

Matt Strahm is coming off a strong outing in New York. He look the loss, but struck out 10 Yankees in 6 innings.

He’ll face off against the Marlins Trevor Richards. He’s coming off back to back dominant outings, so the Padres will have their hands full.

Game time is 3:10 PM PT
