After a long day spent at home, I needed to get out of the house last night. So, as we recorded this week’s episode of Make the Padres Great Again, Craig and I enjoyed beverages at Helix Brewing Co. in La Mesa.
We started off by diving deep into Ian Kinsler’s f-you to the San Diego Padres fanbase before moving on to some familiar topics: “What to do with Wil Myers (and his terrible contract)” and “Just how good can Franmil Reyes be?”
Craig also offered his response to this post on GLB, which he felt was a little too optimistic.
For all of the complaining about the team and its future, I would like to point out here that San Diego is tied for 2nd place and above .500. That’s pretty good!
For San Diegans that have any sort of opinion on long-time radio broadcaster Ted Leitner, you’ll want to stick around until the end for Craig Elsten’s epic rant against one very loud critic of Uncle Teddy.
