WHO: San Diego Padres vs. Arizona Diamondbacks
WHAT: Padres try to get back above .500 with a win
WHEN: Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at 7:10 p.m.
WHERE: Petco Park
HOW: Watch on FOX Sports San Diego (or FOX Sports Go), listen on 97.3FM The Fan. Spanish broadcasts on FOX Deportes San Diego and XEMO 860AM.
WHY: Chris Paddack’s arm and Franmil Reyes’ bat combined to give the Padres a 2-1 victory in game one of their series against the Diamondbacks last night. That win ended their losing streak and got their season record back to .500. Tonight, Matt Strahm and company will attempt to boost that record back over the .500 mark as they take on Zach Greinke.
Strahm has been a little on the unlucky side and as such he sports a 1-3 win-loss record despite featuring a 3.07 ERA. He has been something of a revelation this year given that he is transitioning into a starter from a relief pitcher. The club still has him on a pitch count, but he has been incredibly effective within it.
