4/9 Game Thread: Padres (7-4) at Giants (3-8)

WHO: San Diego Padres vs. San Francisco Giants

WHAT: Friars are looking to take another series with a win tonight.

WHERE: Oracle Park

HOW: Watch on FOX Sports San Diego (or FOX Sports Go), listen on 97.3FM The Fan. Spanish broadcasts on FOX Deportes San Diego and XEMO 860AM.

WHY: Yesterday, the Padres appeared to be in a bad way as they were down 5-0 early. Some probably even turned the game off, but those that have been watching the 2019 Padres had to know better. These boys aren’t out of any game.

Fernando Tatis Jr. got San Diego on the board with a big-time two-run home run and eventually Franmil Reyes broke out of his slump with a go-ahead blast that still hasn’t landed and that ended up being the game-winner.

Tonight, Joey Lucchesi takes the mound for his third start and he still has yet to allow a run this season. If he can keep that up, things are looking good.
