The San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals announced today that their game on Thursday, April 4th is getting pushed to Friday afternoon, pushing the Home Opener at Busch Stadium back a day.
Tomorrow's game vs. the Cardinals has been moved to Friday at 1:15 pm PT due to forecasted inclement weather conditions.

An off day for travel will make the beginning of the road trip a little more forgiving for the Padres, and will also allow Andy Green to fire every bullet in his bullpen in an attempt to win today’s game vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The weather in St. Louis appears to just be lots and lots of rain and nothing serious that would hinder the rest of the series.
It will be interesting to see if the Padres do anything different with Nick Margevicius to prepare him to pitch a day later than he was expecting to.
The last two games of the series in St. Louis will take place at 11:15am PT (both days) on Saturday and Sunday, before the Padres pack it up and head out to San Francisco.
