WHO: San Diego Padres vs. Cincinnati Reds
WHAT: Padres try to snap a six-game losing streak
WHEN: Sunday, April 21, 2019, at 1:10 p.m.
WHERE: Petco Park
HOW: Watch on FOX Sports San Diego (or FOX Sports Go), listen on 97.3FM The Fan. Spanish broadcasts on FOX Deportes San Diego and XEMO 860AM.
WHY: After getting off to an improbably hot start, the Padres have fallen back to earth with their ongoing miserable losing streak. There remain bright spots even during this week of failure (Fernando Tatis Jr. continues to rake and field his position well) and it is only a matter of time before the Friars get back into the win column.
Today, Joey Lucchesi will be the man we all look to as the Padres try to salvage at least one win from their series with the Reds. Lucchesi is coming off a career-high 7-inning start and gives the team as good a chance of winning as any non-Chris Paddack starter can.
Wrapping up the series today at 1:10.
