WHY: The Padres will look to snap their second two-game losing streak of this young season behind Nick Margevicius. Through his first three career starts, the rookie pitcher has allowed no more than one run per start. He faces Jon Gray who has yet to receive more than two runs of run support in any of his starts. If those trends hold up, the Friar should be in a good place.
On the offensive side of things, the Padres will continue to rely on budding superstar Fernando Tatis Jr. and future Hall of Famer Manny Machado.
