WHO: San Diego Padres vs. Arizona Diamondbacks
WHAT: The first place San Diego Padres try to get out of Arizona with a four-game sweep.
WHEN: Sunday, April 14th, at 1:10 p.m. PT
WHERE: Chase Field
HOW: Watch on FOX Sports San Diego (or FOX Sports Go), listen on 97.3FM The Fan. Spanish broadcasts on FOX Deportes San Diego and XEMO 860AM.
WHY: With yesterday’s ulcer-inducing victory, the Friars won the series, but today they have a chance to sweep their division rivals. Eric Lauer will take the mound for them and although he won his last start, he’ll be hoping to put together a better effort this time around as he gave up five runs over six innings in San Francisco. Toeing the rubber for the Diamondbacks will be Zach Greinke who has been most vulnerable in the early goings of games. With that in mind, the Padres will no doubt be trying to get to him quickly before he can settle in.
Overall, this series and this road trip have already been a success, but today is a chance to put an exclamation point on both.
The #Padres wrap up the road trip with @e_lauer10 on the mound at Chase Field.
