Gaslamp Ball is hiring a manager

Baseball season is finally almost here. It’s a perfect time for you to join our team at Gaslamp Ball.

Gaslamp Ball is looking for a new site manager. Keep reading to find out if this is the perfect opportunity for you.

What does the job entail?

The site manager will be responsible for ensuring the site is posting breaking news and other articles on a consistent basis. The manager will also coordinate the staff, edit staff posts as necessary, and assist with moderating the community according to SB Nation’s community guidelines.

This is a part-time, remote contractor opportunity compensated with a monthly stipend. Some daytime availability is preferred.

What qualifications should you have?

Our best manager candidates will:

• Have a passion for the Padres and news and will already be familiar with Gaslamp Ball.
• Understand how to use popular social media networks, like Twitter and Facebook, and be willing to adapt to new best practices.
• Be able to produce and edit clean copy.
• Have the organizational skills to manage a staff of multiple people.
• Be comfortable working in a remote environment.
