Dodgers 4, Padres 0: This is fine.

(This is not fine.)

MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers at San Diego Padres
“Is it just me, or do we kind of suck?”
Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports

The Dodgers scored four runs tonight. The Padres had zero hits against four different pitchers. There’s not really much more to be said. Tonight’s opener in Monterrey was an absolute disaster, the nadir of what has already been a terrible season. I could give you the blow by blow, but what’s the point? You don’t need more misery to mull over on your weekend. The good news for you is that it appears tomorrow’s game will be mercifully rained out.

If, by chance, it’s not rained out, Bryan Mitchell will start for the Padres at 4:10 PM. LA will put Kenta Maeda on the hill, and maybe the Friars will get a hit off him.
