Game Thread: 03/30 Padres vs. Brewers

We're one game into the season and already, after losing the 2018 opener yesterday, some people are ready to give up and chalk it up to a 100-loss season for the Padres. But I know Gaslamp Ballers know better, and that's why you're back here today and why I love you!

Today we celebrate the Tony Gwynn Opener, the second home game of the season which Gwynn believed brought out the "real fans." Tonight's game will be exciting because Joey Lucchesi will be making his MLB debut as the starting pitcher for our boys in brown (man, that feels good to say). And maybe we'll get to see Austin Hedges make contact with a ball for the second time this season and hopefully not strike out for the 5th time. And maybe Chase Headley WON'T ground into a double play! Let's find out!
