The Bring Back the Brown movement got some support from an unlikely source last night and this morning. Lenny Dykstra is echoing many of the same sentiments that fans have felt.
Why did they turn the #Padres uniforms so boring in recent years? https://t.co/SQ3VTFcHrH

The team used to have beautiful brown, gold and orange uniforms and now they look terribly generic and as Dykstra says, similar to the Dodgers.
I must say I don't understand why they got rid of the brown and yellow (and orange). The look now is similar to the nearby #Dodgers. Why?!? https://t.co/ecl8CzSOIo

And he places the blame right where it belongs, on management. They are the worst.
Only Major League team with no other of the main 4 pro sports leagues in town now ... you'd think management could try a bit harder there?

He said he’ll do anything he can and it may start with getting some photos of him and his friends wearing the “Make the Padres Brown Again” caps.
Anyone see where that "Make The #Padres Brown Again" hat photo is? Can't find it. Would be sweet to have one of those.

Well if this doesn’t do it, I don’t know what will.
